Color Challenge Birthday Design

Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge for today was to use Kraft, Riding Hood Red or Real Red, and Summer Sun. Black was allowed as an accent color.

My black card base is layered with Real Red run through my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, sandwiched with Kraft and Black. I used PaperTrey Ink white cardstock, both for my image and sentiment panels. I used Nestabilities Square and Square Scalloped dies, as well as their sentiment tag die.

The sentiment is PaperTrey Ink's "Birthday Basics," along with Crafty Secret's "Bouquet of Joy." I purchased this adorable image from Joan Fricker's online shop, Joan's Gardens.
I colored the image with multiple Copic markers and Spica Glitter pens. Stampin' Up's black gingham ribbon finishes off the design.

Thanks for stopping by! My origami booklet tutorial will be here soon! Have a great week!
