Black and Ivory Quick and Simple

It's time for the Stamp Simply Friday Challenge: Little Black Dress! Sharon challenged us to create a black/white design with the option of adding one other pop of color...I stayed with black and ivory. This will be the last black/ivory card for a while, I promise!

I began with a basic black cardstock base, layering it with Neenah Natural White and K & Company Ivory & Black dp. My sentiment is Verve's new Kindred Spirits set--the fleur de lis designs are just so elegant! I stamped the image panel with Versafine Black Onyx ink, and embossed it with SU Black Fine Detail embossing powder. The image panel was then die cut with Spellbinder's Rectangle Nestabilities, and popped up with dimensional tape.

A tiny jet rhinestone finishes this very quick design! I wanted to keep this design trim and simple, as this will be for a male (who will NOT know that this was for a "Little Black Dress" challenge!!!)

If you would like to play along, please link back to Sharon's blog so that we are all able to see your design! If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword: ssnotime96.

Make sure you check the rest of the Stamp Simply Team designs:

Sharon, Jennifer, Janine, Julie, AJ, Tammy, Barbara, Jenny, and Rose Ann.

Thanks for visiting, and have a wonderful Friday!
