Grow in Grace; Dare to Get Dirty 2009

I just love Our Daily Bread Designs "Grow in Grace." The blossom is so delicate and pretty, and the scripture verses and sentiments are a wonderful reminder of God's ultimate gift and sacrifice for us.

I stamped the blossom with Versafine Sepia ink onto Neenah's Natural White cardstock, then embossed it with SU Detail Gold EP. I used my Copic markers to slightly color the image. After embossing, I die cut the oval with a Spellbinder Oval Nestie. I then overstamped it with SU Sanded background stamp with SU Creamy Caramel ink.

My base is SU Buckaroo Blue (retired), along with K & Co. Blue Awning Damask dp. Lush May Arts ribbon, both wide and narrow, are from the Stamp Simply Ribbon store. A Chatterbox Easy Bradmaker brad, along with my scripture verse die cut with a Spellbinder Ribbon Tag die, finishes the design.

Dare to Get Dirty '09 begins on Thursday over at Splitcoaststampers! This is a fabulous time to enjoy challenges put forth both by current and alumni Dirty Girls. I've seen the lineup, and it looks great! It's a great time to play with along with the Dirty Girls, and show your fab designs! Hope to see you there!

I hope that your week is going well. I will be out of town, attending a wedding thru the weekend, and will not have access to a computer. Hopefully my scheduled blog post will post on Friday for my Stamp Simply design...I've been having some problems with it doing so. Thanks for your patience in advance if it doesn't go live.
