Ultra Fine Flower Soft and Chocolate Cake!

I cannot sing the praises of Ultra Fine Flower Soft enough!!! I loved regular Flower Soft, but Ultra Fine FS is amazing! Take a look at the fabulous coverage it provides...

I took a piece of May Road Scroll Corners chipboard, colored it with a black Copic marker, then proceeded to cover it with Black Ultra Fine Flower Soft. The new black has a subtle sheen...and adds gorgeous texture. I dipped the chipboard into the FS twice (the first dip covers, but not as thickly as I would like), lightly pressing the FS into the glue each time. This insures total coverage, without a need to add extra glue. You may think that double dipping uses a large amount of product--it doesn't!

K & Company Black & Ivory 8.5 X 8.5" designer paper was used, along with a basic black cardstock for the base. I also used the Black Ultra Fine FS to frame out the main image panel.
Take a peek at my lace and ribbon treatment...this is ivory Wright Flat Cluny Lace from Walmart, dressed to impress with May Art's Black Silk Ribbon from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. The twinkling jet black Kaiser Rhinestones add the final touch to my design today.

My husband Paul loves to bake (cook, too!) He created a yummy chocolate cake this evening...it looked so pretty, I took a couple of pictures to share with you! (no calories this way...!)

Pretty isn't it? Totally made from scratch!

Delicious too!!!!

That's all for tonight! Have a wonderful week! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Beautiful and elegant card. I want some ultra fine flower soft, and I want a slice of that cake-it's my favorite kind. TFS
