March Dirty Dozen/Alumni Challenge!

Happy Spring! Today marks the March Dirty Dozen/Dirty Dozen Alumni challenge (DCBB310) over at Splitcoaststampers: we were to create a Spring design with either a bird or bee on it! Head on over to SCS to see what all of the ladies have come up with!

My design is created from My Mind's Eye Ooh La La "Beautiful Morning" decorator paper, along with PaperTrey Ink's Stamper Select White and Linen Vellum. I've been on a vellum border kick lately...it adds a sheer touch!

The Psalm 124:8 verse if from the new Our Daily Bread design's release, "Scripture Collection 3." This beautiful verse was submitted from Connie McCotter, one of my design team mates over at ODBD. I stamped the verse with Versafine Sepia ink, then heat embossed with with a clear EP. Spellbinder Petite Ovals from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store were used to die cut the verse and vellum panels.
A petite, white embossed bee from Stampin' Up's retired "Botanicals" set, Prima Daisy Dreams "Snow" blossoms (Our Daily Bread designs), and May Art's narrow Ivory Silk ribbon (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) finish this Springtime design.

Hope you like it!

Be sure to keep your eyes out for JustRite's MEGA blog hop taking place next week! It will be a SUPER three day hop! I will be participating, and do hope that you will join us! It begins on Tuesday, the 23rd, and ends Thursday, the 25th. I will be hopping on Wednesday, the 24th. There will be prizes galore, so please join us!
