Stamp Simply Sketch Challenge!

This week's Stamp Simply Challenge (#139) is a sketch challenge...brought to you by Jennifer Buck! Thanks so much Jen! Here's my design...I did take the liberty of making my sentiment panel focus a rectangular shape, rather than a square.

I began with some pretty new decorator paper from Pink Paislee, "Queen Bee" (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store). The pretty prints and subtle colors make this 6 X 6" pad "a keeper!"

I layered up three of the sheets from the pad, adding distressing to the edges. A stitched border of May Art's Ivory Twine (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) adds a fun touch and bit of interest.

The featured verse is a quote from Corrie Ten Boom, part of Our Daily Bread design's May release set, "As You Graduate." I stamped the verse with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, a perfect match for the brown tones of "Queen Bee." A Spellbinder rectangular die was used to cut the sentiment panel.

A paper Prima "Innoscence" Collection blossom was my final touch on this design.
