Blog Candy Every Week in August! + Shabby Tea Room's 123

Hello! I'm excited to show you my entry for this week's Shabby Tea Room Challenge: "1 2 3!"

I also have news of blog candy that I will be offering every week in the month of August--more about that below!

First, my design:

This week, the Shabby Tea Room challenges us to use ONE ribbon, TWO buttons, and THREE punches or dies...hence, 123!

I began my design with Stampin' Up's beautiful floral image from "Elements of Style." I colored the image with muted Copic Sketch markers, then die cut it with a Spellbinder Petite Oval die. I layered the oval image onto a Spellbinder Petite Oval Scalloped die using dimensional tape.

Take a look at my two buttons (Foof a La Rhonna Christmas Collection)...they're threaded together to create one!

I am just in love with Basic Grey's "Cappella" decorator paper (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store)! The soothing, understated prints match this May Art's Wide Silk Ribbon (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store--NEW ribbon just in!) just perfectly!

If you look closely at my layered base, you will see one more punched detail using Stampin' Up's Scalloped Border punch.

The Shabby Tea Room Challenges are so enjoyable! They come out with a new challenge every Monday, which you may participate in through Sunday night. They feature a prize for one fortunate person is also announced on Monday as well! Check it out!

I will be giving away a blog candy prize every Wednesday for the month of August celebrating the last month of summer vacation before I have to head back to work!

What do you need to do? Simply sign up as a follower of this blog, and subscribe with the Feedblitz on this blog!

You can sign up for both Feedblitz and Followers on the sidebar on the right.

That's it!

I will randomly choose a winner from my entire "Feedblitz List"  the first and third Wednesday of the month, and choose a winner from my "Followers List" the second and fourth week of the August. If you're signed have a chance to win!

I hope to see you on the lists!

Thanks so much for stopping by today...have a great week!
