Dare to Get Dirty Continues!!!

Splitcoaststampers Dare to Get Dirty continues! Sharon's (notimetostamp) challenge for today can be seen here (if you are a Fan Club member). It's a great challenge, and I wanted to play along!

All of the papers used in this design are from Basic Grey's "Cappella" decorator paper pad, available at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

I used Spellbinder's Shapeabilities "Daisy Heads" dies (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) to create these layered blooms. After cutting the layers, I bent the edges with my fingers to add dimension.

To see a fabulous way to create drop dead gorgeous paper flowers, check out Sherry Cheever's very informative video. Sherry's blossoms are so shabby chic--I {{love}} them!

A couple of buttons, thread through with May Art's Ivory twine, adds a touch of color to the center of the blossoms.

May Art's Narrow 1/4" Ivory Silk Ribbon and 5/8" Ivory Lace (both from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) adds a bow and defines the borders between the three different dp patterns.

The new release JustRite "All Occasion Nested Sentiments" stamped with Versafine Sepia ink (both Stamp Simply Ribbon Store), finishes this design.

Be sure to check out Sharon's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge! Take a hop over to Sherry's blog as well...she is one of the sample makers for Sharon's challenge; AND...Holly has a Dare to Get Dirty Challenge going today too...you won't want to miss her gorgeous creations!

Have a great day!
