Stamp Simply Color Challenge!

We have a color challenge for this week's Stamp Simply Challenge #150: Use this black, yellow, and green bedroom for inspiration:

I followed the color challenge with the exception of using metallic gold leaf edging instead of bright yellow.

This design also fits today's Free for All Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers: "Side Swiped" (F4A23) to add some type of side detail...mine being the lime green border running up and over the top of my background.

These are fabulous colors together...I found all of these prints in Pink Paislee's "Bayberry Cottage" decorator pad. Layers are edged with Krylon's 18kt. Gold Leafing Pen (both the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store).

I stamped Wordsworth "Everyday Greetings" with Versafine Black Onyx ink, then die cut it with Spellbinders "Ribbon Tag Trio Two." May Art's Black Twill was used to hold the sentiment in place (all items from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store).

A Prima "Baja Fiesta Flower" from Our Daily Bread designs, along with a gingham print brad from Michaels, adds the final touch.

Be sure to check out the rest of the Stamp Simply Challenge team's take on this week's color challenge! If you decide to play along with us, please link to Mr. Linky at Sharon's blog!

What a beautiful room and interesting color combo! Love the flower and brad. I'm especially impressed with how artfully you combined the papers to make such a fabulous card with the sentiment, only, and no main image. Very striking!
