Stampin' in the U.P. and News About Blog Candy!

It's time for our Third Annual Stampin' in the U.P. event! Thirty one stampers from the local area and nearby states will be getting together to enjoy a day and a half of stampin challenges, swaps, and each other...all put together by our local stamping group! I'm so looking forward to seeing friends made through this event...along with their designs!!!

I will also be participating in an Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Open House tomorrow, before the actual event! Sharon has lined up Barb Schram and I to demo different items, and there will be a make and take and...LUNCH! Fun!!!



I wanted to show you the shoebox swap that I will be sharing at the event. I made my 30 kits up yesterday...not a problem...LOL! Coming up with the design is half the battle!

I really love this "Tea for Two" and "Tea for Two Additions", both from PaperTrey Ink. Did you know that PaperTrey also

has dies to match these two sets?

Take a look: I die cut two tea pots here...one on decorator paper, one on yellow cardstock. Then, I stamped the lined teapot image from PTI onto the decorator pot--easy to do with clear stamps and block! After stamping the image, I scissor cut the decorator paper pot, trimming right next to the design. Layer it onto the yellow cardstock tea pot to create a border.

The little "Tea Time" sentiment is from the new "Tea Time Additions" set...so little and cute...a perfect little tag to attach to my pot!
