Shabby Tea Room and Day Two of the Black Friday Sale!

I wanted to play in this week's Shabby Tea Room Challenge: "Week 37~~Pick a Cause."  Hostess Nicole challenges us to create a design keeping a charity or cause in mind...my choice: Susan G. Komen for the Cure...informing and supporting women for and about breast cancer. My design has a woman in the design, a blushing bride in fact, touched with peachy pink accents.

Isn't she lovely? Look at her lovely, blushing cheek! These gorgeous layers of paper are all from Graphic 45's Le Romantique decorator pad...my designer choice for sale through Sunday at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's Black Friday Sale. The entire list of Graphic 45 papers on sale are listed in my previous post, found HERE

Sharon also has the "Le Romantique" papers in kit form, found HERE.

The beautiful, peachy flowery trim is Webster's Pages "Bloomers" in "Petal." I just cut a strip of flowers, glued it down with dabs of quick dry glue...so easy, yet so pretty! See both the Petal color and multi color Webster's Pages Fabric Flower Bloomers HERE.

A narrow May Art's Silk ribbon bow topped with a Webster's Pages Vintage Sparkler Button, along with a border of May Art's Ivory lace peeking from behind a panel, finish this wedding card design.

I hope that you've enjoyed my design for today! Be sure to check out the big sale over at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store...Sharon has a TON of items listed!

Thanks to the Shabby Tea Room for delightful weekly challenges!

Have a wonderful weekend~~!!!

Oh, Deb~

This card took my breath away! So stunning! I love the photo of the woman, and the bit of peach to her cheek. I love her face, and what she has on her head...you flowers are incredible. I think I would fall in love with this set! I am loving everything and anything Vintage...but you, my friend, really add such a special touch whether it be a teddy bear, a beautiful bride, or a masculine card. I can see why you chose it as a Favorite. Too bad shopping is to the barest minimum this year.

I wanted to let you know since you chose breast cancer awareness as a "cause"...there is a site where all they do is click on the button and the advertisers send money to help give mammograms to women who can't afford them. It is:

http://www.thehungersite.com/

Click on the top tab "Breast Cancer" and click the button...VOILA a donation is made, and they will never contact you.

(Deb, of course delete this section if you'd like. I thought it was important...there are 5 causes on that one site.)

I saw that you included the "Proper Gentleman" set as well. I don't think I will forget that kit! It is perfect for anything needed for a man's card, scrapbook, anything...so incredibly grouped! Perfect.
