Shabby Tea Room Bingo Challenge!

The Shabby Tea Room is having a "Bingo" Challenge (Week 54)--see it HERE!

My choice for today's design--running diagonally on the bingo card--punch/die cuts, flowers, and gems. Most of the products used today are from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

The focus of my design is actually a K and Company "Brenda Walton Flora and Fauna Chipboard," purchased from Michaels. I added a bit of Tim Holtz Old Paper Distressing Ink, then glittered it up with chunky clear glitter from Stampin' Up.

Kaiser Craft Rhinestones and Prima Fairytale Roses add the additional elements to meet the challenge.

I love the soft colors and beautiful prints in the oh-so-pretty decorator paper Kaisercraft's "English Rose Collection" (currently out of stock at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store --watch the store as it will be listed as soon as the next shipment arrives). The newsprint panel is from Seven Gypsies "Conservatory" 8 X 8" pad.

May Art's ivory Crocheted Lace, strung through with May Art's narrow ivory silk ribbon, layer over the newsprint panel, while a bit more of the narrow ivory silk makes for a small bow. Distressed edges and machine stitching contribute to a shabby overall look.

Have you heard? The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is officially ONLINE...head over and check out Sharon's luscious ribbons, embellishments, kits and papers! You will not be disappointed!

Oh, Deb~

I was thinkin just this morning that I haven't received an announcement that there was a post on your blog in a while! I found out it hasn't been working on quite a few blogs. I am so glad I received the announcement today!

This card is so incredibly elegant! I love the shape of the bird! Is that part of the flowers around it? I am a bit confused about that part? I am wondering if it is a stamp, or if it is cut-out? I know it is GORGEOUS! That glitter is so pretty on this card. And, the paper is marvelous. I need to keep an eye out for that! I love papers like that...and this color theme is so beautiful...so soft...so pretty.

I miss you, My Friend!
