Botanical Butterflies

Here's a quick non-Christmas design. Do you ever need a bit of relief from red, green, and snowflakes? Well, that is one of the type of days I'm having!

Have you seen JustRite's "Botanical Butterflies?" What a lovely set. See all of the JustRite stamps HERE

I colored the image today with Copic Sketch markers, then hand trimmed it. It's layered over a Spellbinder Classic Circle die, Labels Four panel, and Classic Rectangle panel. Dimensional tape pops it all up, and Kaisercraft Rhinestones add a bit of bling.

I really am taken with My Mind's Eye "A Beautiful Life" decorator paper. Gorgeous, muted tones and pretty prints. I used SU's Whisper White Craft ink for smudge up the edges.

All of today's supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

I thought the butterfly was cut out of the designer paper, until I read Sharon's comment and then read your blog more closely. What a wonderful job and great matching!! Nice change for this time of year!

I agree with Stacey - I thought it was out of the designer paper, until I read through the blog. Absolutely stunning! And I love the layers on layers.

Stunning indeed! I too thought your butterfly was cut from dsp. Wow Deb, you have incredible talent! I like looking at something other than Christmas now too. Just a quick break to rest. All the holiday stuff is making me anxious at how much I still need to do...and it isn't even December. lol! Thanks for the inspiration today.

Hi Deb~

Thinking of you a lot lately! This card is amazing! I mean that! I thought you stamped the butterfly on matching paper (from the bg dp) and cut it out and popped it up! You color so amazingly! I wouldn't have thought it was colored if you didn't write it in the blog.

Thanks for sharing this special treat!
