If you have yet to read about the fabulous blog candy mentioned above, be certain to check out the details at Sharon's blog.

My project for today's hop features Melissa Frances 5th Avenue decorator paper, Neutral Crepe Paper, and Cream Lace. I gathered the crepe paper with a large stitch on my sewing machine, layering it over the patterned background.

I traced a bird shape onto chipboard, then covered it with more of the Melissa Frances 5th Avenue paper.

A May Art's wide silk ribbon bow, formed with a Bow Easy, as well as a glittered chipboard heart and Baby Pink Fairy Tale Prima blossom, add the final touches to this song bird wall hanging.

All supplies used today are available at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Make sure that you continue on to see the other pretty offerings that the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Design Team have come up with:

Blue Framed Iris

Happy Friday! Here's a layout specifically simple...specifically simple to showcase my Copic Sketch colored image panel. Isn't this a lovely stamp image?  It is LaBlanche's "Framed Iris," available at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

The decorator paper used here is K & Company's 12 X 12" "Blue Awning," a gorgeous pad of delightful prints and designs.

A bit of lace from Websters Page's "Wonderfall" trim card, 1/4" May Art's ivory silk ribbon, and pewter brads finish this design.

Have a wonderful spring weekend...
we are expecting 6-10" of wet, heavy snow...
:(

Thanks for stopping by!

Shabby Tea Room Challenge

Time again for the Shabby Tea Room's challenge,

We were to draw inspiration from the following photo:

I was so excited to see the soft, springlike colors in the challenge picture...I had just received a passel of goodies, including Melissa Frances' new 5th Avenue paper and matching collection.

I began my design making up a little bouquet of Prima Baby Pink Fairytale Roses,  Prima Teaberry Lilliput Roses, and a ruffle of Melissa Frances Neutral Crepe Paper. The flowers are mounted on a scalloped circle, frosted with chunky glitter.

Melissa Frances 5th Avenue 6" X 6" designer paper was used for the panels of the base of the card, stitched together with my sewing machine. A large 5th Avenue Tag Collection tag layers over the  card base and border of Melissa Frances lace.

The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs Happy Easter, stamped with Versafine Sepia Ink. May Art's 1/8th inch ivory Silk Ribbon and a Melissa Frances "Trinkets and Baubles" pearl accent the tag panel.

All supplies (stamp set not included) are available from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

I've been out of commission as of late...foot surgery a week and a half ago has kept me on the couch ELEVATING! Finally able to sneak into my special room and have a bit of fun...(heading straight back to the couch, Doc!).

I wanted to share a picture of some beautiful tulips that the ladies group from my church sent me...

                      Thank you,
                      Dear Friends!
