Secret Valentine

Hello Everyone:

I wanted to show you a new design based on one that I had posted in the past. I call it "Secret Valentine..."

You may wonder what is "secret" about this design...

The heart is hinged with a brad in the corner so the back will swing away...perfect for your own personal, secret love letter to your honey!

Let me tell you about the design...

I die cut the Prima Songbird A4 decorator paper stack with the largest size Spellbinder Classic Heart die, sponged it with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink, then adhered it to the largest size Spellbinder Classic Scalloped Heart die, cut from vanilla cardstock.

I'm sure that you have noticed that most of my Valentines use the Spellbinder Heart dies in one way or another. They truly are a staple in my stamping stash! Both Spellbinder Classic Heart and Classic Scalloped Heart dies are marked down now!

After cutting the largest size Classic Heart die from vanilla cardstock, I layered all of the ink distressed hearts together and attached a die in the left upper corner to make a swing away design.

Pretty vintage details used to cover the working, functional brad include: May Art's 1/4" Silk Ribbon, Maya Road Vintage Leaves Pins, Kaisercraft Chocolate Pearls, and a Prima blossom (old, but similar Prima Classic in Cream).

All supplies used today are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
