LaBlanche Butterflies

Hello and Happy Weekend everyone!

We have had springtime weather, except for the surprise of snow for the last two days! Guess Dushanbe is not all that different from South Range with unpredictable springtime weather...

I was off from work during the snowy weather and pulled out LaBlanche's "Measured Butterflies" stamp just knowing that the snow would melt quickly and we would have spring back...

The green decorator paper is from Basic Grey's "True Love" 6X6" pad.

The image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (my favorite for Copic coloring!) onto vanilla cardstock. As mentioned, it is Copic Colored. I've added touches of Spica Glitter pen to the butterfly wings (impossible to see in the photo...sorry!) which present a lovely glimmer IRL. The image was die cut with Spellbinder's Classic Rectangle dies.

I used a spatter stamp and stamped over the image with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink.

The bow is May Art's 1.5" Silk tied with a Bow Easy, and the accent border is May Art's 1.5" Crochet, layered over a piece of silk. The stick pin is from The Shabby Chic Collection by Darsie Bruno.

All linked product is from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Thanks so much for stopping by today...enjoy your weekend!
