JustRite Vintage Botanical Postcard

There really is not a competition between vintage and any other style of paper craft design (in my mind)--it has always been my favorite!  I do enjoy coloring as well and JustRite has come up with the most beautiful collage type background stamps that have just the perfect touch of shabby! And, if coloring is not your thing, JR has been also producing many other beautiful print background stamps...you should really check them all out.

I stamped the JustRite cling "Botanical Postcard" background image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, my choice for when I am going to be coloring with Copic Sketch Markers. I often layer multiple colors to try to achieve the "vintage" look, with my favorite Copic color being "Putty."

Another current favorite (and if you follow my blog you already know this) is Seam Binding Ribbon. The shabby vintage appeal that it holds reminds me of an old, pressed-in-a-book ribbon from the past. I fashioned this bow with a Bow Easy (tutorial HERE) and embellished it with two pearly Maya Road Vintage Leaves pins. Kaisercraft Pearls add a few additional accents to the design.

All linked supplies for today's project are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Hope that your weekend is just grand! Thanks for stopping by.
