LaBlanche Dragonflies

I wanted to make a card that represents the beautiful weather that we have been enjoying on this side of the world...we have some friendly dragonflies that join us, dipping and weaving as we swim in the pool.

This lovely collage comes from LaBlanche silicon stamps, "Dragonflies"...it actually comes as a set with one other stamp of a flower, a bit larger than the one that is in the collage.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored it with Copic Sketch and Copic Spica markers. The panel is die cut with a Spellbinders Rectangle die, layered for dimension with Thermoweb 3D Foam Squares.

It is layered over an Spellbinders M-Bossabilities "Enchanted" embossed panel, then layered over Graphic 45 "Secret Garden Patterns and Solids 6 X 6" decorator paper.

A border of Prima "Wave" trim (love this trim...comes by the yard, and each side is different and usable) is accented with a button and May Art's Burlap String (look closely...you can hardly see it in the photo!) and finishes this design.

All supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Have a wonderful remainder to your week!

I love this card, Deb! It's so different from the 3 layer all pink card I first fell in love with years ago! This is so realistic and yet so feminine at the same time! I really like the trim and that gorgeous paper! I have not bought paper in 2 years this April. I have been hoping to get my stack down to under 7 feet high if I stacked it on top of each other. (I haven't. ) Praying you are all well.

Beautiful job on this card! Your color choice is perfect, and I like the layout with the green mats behind. :)
