Altenew Peony Bouquet and Stamp Simply Blessings

I think that this is my current favorite Altenew stamp set: "Peony Bouquet." One of the reasons that I love it so much is that it has dies that really make the flowers look crisp and wonderful...no fussy cutting here!

I stamped the flowers with Altenew's Ink Cube set in "Shades of Purple" before die cutting them with Altenew Peony Bouquet dies.  There are also lovely Tim Holtz Distress inks that work perfect as well, such as the greens that I used for the leaves here: Shabby Shutters and Forest Moss. One tip: I did stamp off the ink once before stamping each layer of blossom. This gave a more faded look--just what I was looking to achieve.

The base of the card is embossed with Spellbinder's Celebration Framed Canvas embossing folder.

I really love how Stamp Simply Clear stamps go beautifully with the Altenew flowers...the font is perfect! This sentiment is from Stamp Simply Clear Blessings/Beatitudes 2, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and die cut with a JustRite Antique Tags One die.

The blossoms, embossed layer and sentiment were all popped up for more dimension using Thermoweb 3D Foam Strips.

A lavender Seam Binding bow, tied with an Original Bow Easy finishes this design.

All Altenew products are HERE. All Stamp Simply Clear Stamps are HERE.

Unfortunately for me I will probably never own it as I do not have the funds to order anything but I never miss an opportunity to look at any and ALL cards using it! Thanks for sharing this beauty!
