Easter Florals

I have a couple of Easter designs for you today featuring Stamp Simply clear stamps: "Words of Encouragement" and "He has Risen." I have also used decorator paper for both cards from Dovecraft Trimcraft 6 x 6" "Bohemian."

The Bohemian paper is layered onto the card front to make a garden of blooms...perfect for a butterfly! The butterfly is die cut from Spellbinders "Fanciful Flight" die set and is layered over White Vellum. After gluing the butterfly layers together with a Sakura Quickie Glue Pen, it is adhered to the design with Thermoweb 3D Foam Strip pieces. The bling on the design is Prima Say it in Crystals in "Royal Menagerie."

Here is the inside of the butterfly card and the featured verse from Stamp Simply Clear "Words of Encouragement" stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink:

The second card uses the same Bohemian paper. This sheet has a subtle pearlescent finish, hard to see in the photo. Also, I'm loving the vibrant floral tones!

Vellum is also used in this design. The base of the card is vellum, and Spellbinders Die D-Lites "Filigree Egg" is also cut from the vellum before being layered over a solid pink cardstock egg.  A May Art's 1/2" Wrinkled Ribbon Bow (tied with the Original Bow Easy) makes for a fresh border along with a Melissa Frances Pearl accent.

The inner Bible verse featured in this design is Stamp Simply's "He Has Risen" clear stamp set, once again stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink:

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

I hope that you have enjoyed today's designs. We still have quite a bit of snow on the ground here, but the sun is promising
Spring to come. Have a great remainder to your week!
Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you Teresa Doyle! The flowers in the papers put a smile on my face while constructing the design!
