Gingham Holly Leaves--Christmas Blessings

for a bit of paper piecing today.

The decorator paper used here is Simple Stories "Very Merry." I first stamped the holly leaf twice on Spectrum Noir White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. After die cutting, I colored the berries and ribbon on the image with Copic Sketch Markers.

I then stamped the holly leaves twice on the gingham decorator paper. I fussy cut the leaves, then pieced them onto the white die cuts with a Sakura Quickie Glue Pen. I applied Ranger Glossy Accents to the berries and let dry. Thermoweb 3D Foam Strips were used to mount the leaves to the base panel.

The sentiment from the "Christmas Blessings" stamp set was stamped directly on the decorator paper card base with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

May Art's Metallic String Ribbon was wrapped around the base and tied off into a bow.

Here's the inner sentiment, also included in the
"Christmas Blessings" stamp set:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great remainder to your week!
