Welcome Fall Autumn Treat

Autumn calls for brisk breezes, warm clothing, cocoa or apple cider and COOKIES! Here's an easy, but memorable, way to present a cookie to a friend or special co worker, or even to pose as a take home treat at a place setting.

Let me tell you how I created the tag...

I began with JustRite's A2 Stitched Banners and Rectangle dies. The base of the tag is die cut from decorator paper... American Craft "Cedar Lane." The top orange cardstock is Tim Holtz Distress Color Coredinations 12 x 12". I wanted a bit more texture, so after die cutting it I ran the piece through a Fiskars paper crimper.

The lovely pumpkin and sentiment are from Stamp Simply's clear "Welcome Fall" stamp set along with their Steel Welcome Fall pumpkin die.

The pumpkin is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored with Copic Sketch markers. After die cutting with the custom die, it is popped up on the tag with Thermoweb 3D Foam strip pieces.

After the cookies are slipped into a food safe treat bag, the sentiment tag is created with the "for you" stamp from the stamp set. It is stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink, then tied to the cookie package with May Art's Burlap String. A bow of May Art's 5/8" Burlap Center Stitch Ribbon ties it all together.

Sweet and easy! Sure to put a smile on someone's face.

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
