It's Beginning to Look ALOT LIKE...

CHRISTMAS! You don't have to look far to see the holiday season building...even though Thanksgiving is still a week and a half away! If you haven't started working on your Christmas greeting cards, now is the time!

I just adore this Christmas tree in the Stamp Simply Clear "O Christmas Tree" stamp set! There are two other trees in the set, but this is definitely my favorite. I just love the snow covered branches and vintage feel.

I began with Kaisercraft "Letters to Santa" decorator paper for the base of the design. Kaisercraft always has additional special borders and decorative pieces as part of their decorator pads. They also usually have embossed, metallic or glitter accents as well. This pad has love clear embossed printed sheets...so special. And these vintage cut outs are also a part of the pad:

The Stamp Simply tree is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, die cut with Stamp Simply Steel O Christmas Tree dies, then colored with Copic Sketch Markers. Simple Stories enamel dots in "Cozy Christmas" add bling and shine to the tree and on the layered paper base. A bit of Thermoweb 3D Foam helps pop the tree up to add dimension.

The sentiment is from Stamp Simply's Clear "Wonder of Christmas" Sentiment stamp set. The Wonder of Christmas set is a perfect addition to the O Christmas Tree set. I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink, then colored the word "Christmas" in with a Spica Gold glitter pen. It doesn't show very well in the photo, but adds a bit of gleam in person.

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy all of the holiday ideas and projects that have begun!
