Pumpkin and Spice

We are approaching "that" time of year...everything pumpkin, spice, and everything nice! Love pumpkin spice flavors...such a yummy way to welcome Autumn!

My design today features Stamp Simply's clear "Welcome Fall" stamp set and "Welcome Fall Pumpkin" steel die.  I went with a muted colorway, almost non traditional, for this design today-- using Simple Stories "Winter Wonderland" designer paper and Enamel Dots. The colors lean towards a rosy/rust tone, but that is just what I was aiming for!

The pumpkin was stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink, then watercolored with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (Candied Apple, Evergreen Bough, Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap). Watercoloring was made easy using Ranger's Craft Mat Sheet...simply dab some ink from the ink pad directly onto the sheet, then add water to begin painting.

I cut the banner and the background panel using JustRite's A2 Banners and Rectangle die set (the inside circle and triangle were also cut with dies from that set) and used a Tonic/Tim Holtz Stamp Platform for perfect sentiment placement and stamping on the layered background.

The inside Bible verse is also from the "Welcome Fall" stamp set, stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink.

A rustic border of May Art's 1/2 Woven Burlap and 1/4" Crochet Lace trims were used as an accent. ScorTape and Thermoweb 3D Foam Strips were used as adhesives for the design.

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Thanks for stopping by today;
enjoy everything "pumpkin and spice!"
