Framed Autumn Blessings

Welcome! I have an Autumn design once again for you today...
this time with Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's new

The designer paper used here is Kaisercraft's "Golden Grove" decorator paper for the main panel and frame, with Kaisercraft's "Ma Cherie" for the darker gold background and sentiment tag.

I began by cutting a 4.25 x 4.25" inch square from the Golden Grove pad to make the main background panel. I then used a Spellbinder Classic Square die and cut a square from the middle of the card. I chose a darker color gold decorator paper (Ma Cherie) to fill the square that was cut from the image panel.

Using a Tonic Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, I stamped the wheat image onto the middle of the darker gold square with Versafine Vintage Sepia Ink. The stamp platform insures a clean and clear image.

Next, I took the square that had been die cut from the middle main background panel and die cut another smaller square in the center of it, making a frame of sorts. I also cut a cardstock piece in the same manner and glued it to the back of the decorator paper frame (Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue) to make it more sturdy.

The frame has two layers of Thermoweb 3D foam tape squares behind it to give maximum dimension, as you can see in the following photo...

I stamped the sentiment from the "Autumn Blessings" set with the Versafine Vintage Sepia ink, die cut it into a tag shape, then mounted it on the card using a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Memo Pin.
