O Christmas Tree Sparkle

Presenting a design that is fairly quick and easy to mail...also with a bit of sparkle that makes it extra special! I believe that this design would be quite easy to create in multiples.

I began with Ranger Watercolor paper, and trimmed it into a standard 4.25 x 5.5" top fold card. I then cut the smaller main panel 4 X 5.25."

The main panel was then stenciled with Tim Holtz Layering Stencil in "Crossed" and DreamWeavers Embossing Paste. I immediately covered the wet embossing paste design with Stampendous Ultra Fine Translucent Glitter and set the panel aside to dry.

On to the tree...

This lovely tree is from Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's clear "O Christmas Tree" stamp, stamped with Versafine Smokey Gray ink. I then water colored it with some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks. The tree was then die cut with Stamp Simply's O Christmas Tree steel die.

A bit of snowy sparkle was added to the branches with a Sakura Quickie Glue Pen and some more of the Stampendous ultra fine glitter.

The sentiment "O Christmas Tree" is also from the Stamp Simply stamp set by the same name, stamped with the Versafine Smokey Gray ink. It was then die cut with Stamp Simply's new "Fishtail Sentiment Banners" die, then both it and the tree adhered to the background panel using Thermoweb 3D Foam Squares.

A simple card with just a bit of drying time for the embossing paste. I believe that in taking it a step at a time, you can mass produce these sparkly cards for your Christmas card stash.

All product is from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Thank you for joining me today! Hope the remainder
of your week is fabulous!
