SCS Limited Supply Challenge: Wedding Colors

Today's Limited Supply Challenge (LSC229) at Splitcoaststampers was to create a design around our school colors, or wedding colors. We were to add staples, clips, or photo corners as well. I chose to go with my wedding colors. My bridesmaids wore light blue dotted swiss, with rings of daisies and other blossoms in their hair.

I began with a base of SU Bashful Blue, layered with Neenah Natural White. My Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder was used for texture. I was tempted to try to rub white ink across the dots to really recreate the blue dotted swiss, but decided against it...maybe another time!

My sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs "Let Us Begin," featuring a beautiful set of quotes from Mother Teresa. I stamped it with Versafine Sepia ink, and embossed it with SU Clear EP. Spellbinder's Rectangle Nesties came in handy once again (what would I do without them? hehe) to die cut the verse.

An aged copper photo corner (retired SU HodgePodge Hardware) with a May Arts bow (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) anchors the left upper corner. Gorgeous Primas (Daisy Dreams Cashew from Our Daily Bread Designs) add the finishing touch.

Hope you like this summery design! Have a great weekend!
