I'm playing with some new toys today...namely this cute bird punch from Stampin' Up! I thought that it would go perfectly along with Our Daily Bread designs February release sets (all bird related!). I chose a sentiment from ODBD "He Watches Me."
I began with K & Company's Wild Raspberry decorator paper, also available at Our Daily Bread designs. The 8.5 X 8.5" pad is a perfect size, as I love creating long and low cards. The colors in the Wild Raspberry are so fresh and cheerful--they certainly can brighten your day!

I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx ink, then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Another new toy: a Spellbinders Shapeabilities Ribbon Tag Trio Two (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) was used to emboss and die cut the ribbon tag. A swath of ribbon and a Bow Easy bow of luxurious May Art's Rose Silk Ribbon (both from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) add a pretty touch.
The SU punched bird and branch are the final touch on this quick and easy design.
