Stamp Simply Sketch Challenge!

"Rise and Shine!"

This week's Stamp Simply Challenge (ssnotime144): Sharon challenged us to create a design around the following sketch:

What a great layout for a quick and easy card!

No stamping here today...I pulled a Crafty Secrets Cotton Scraps "#15 Feathered Friends" image (from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) from my stash, and trimmed it with my fabric shears. EASY!

This rooster and hen having a toast breakfast in bed put an immediate smile upon my face!

October Afternoon's "Thrift Shop"papers (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) are a perfect foil for this image...they have somewhat of a vintage, country feel.

Some striped Red & Ivory May Art's ribbon, along with an oversized black brad, finish this design.

Check out the rest of the Stamp Simply Challenge team's artistry:

Barbara Anders: Paper Pursuits

Jenny Gropp: One Krafty Kat

Janine Orchard: 2bKrafty

AJ Otto: The Willow Garden (AJ is not playing this week)

~and~

Julia Aston: Create With Me, June's Guest Designer

If you decide to play along, please link your design to Mr. Linky on Sharon's blog!

P.S. Don't forget: there's a May Art's Ribbon by the Spool Sale happening at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store until Monday! Check it out!!!

Have a GREAT Friday!
