I'm excited to back...just in time for the Fall and Winter 2019 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
My supplies are partially unpacked from their trip across the sea, and I have been working to organize a new space in our home to begin creating once again!
Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is one of the sponsors for the hop...be certain to play along by uploading a card to possibly be chosen!
You can upload your projects here: http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/11566
Here's my card for today...it features Autumn colors, rich burgundies, purples, rusts, and golds. Craft Consortium's "Eastern Influences" decorator paper is gorgeous...the prints are nostalgic to me as I had some clothing in similar prints when I was young.
The card is quick and easy using die cuts only: Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's "Java" dies for the coffee cup and "Java" sentiment; there is also a matching "A Cup of Java" clear stamp set available as well.
The base and creamy portions of the design are Ranger Watercolor paper. I love using watercolor paper as it is slightly textured and a bit heavier than regular cardstock. Spellbinders Hemstitch Rectangle die was cut from the watercolor paper for layering.
Both the coffee cup and "java" sentiment were die cut numerous times from the watercolor paper and glued together using a Sakura Quickie glue pen to create dimension. The decorator paper layer was then glued on top to add color. A Stamp Simply's "Fishtail Banner Sentiment die" was used as a base for the "java" sentiment.
Scor-Tape and Thermoweb 3D Foam pieces were used to adhere layers and add dimension.
All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
So glad to be back! Make certain to check out all of the inspiration at the Coffee Lovers hop!
