My post for today's hop features Stamp Simply Patriotic clear stamp sets and dies--   "Patriotic Stars and Stripes (Old Glory) steel die set," "Old Glory" and "Patriotic Sentiments" stamp sets.

First up-- Happy Independence Day:



This card is created with Stamp Simply's "Old Glory" clear stamps along with their "Patriotic Stars and Stripes" steel die set. The sentiment is from the Stamp Simply "Patriotic Sentiments" stamp set.


Details: "Old Glory" stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto white cardstock; die cut with "Stars and Stripes" die; colored with Copic Sketch markers; paper pieced with Echo Park "America" 6 x 6" paper. 

Additional supplies:

- Spellbinder Hemstitch Rectangle die

- Stamp Simply Fishtail Banner Sentiment die

- Scor-Tape and Tombow Mono Multi Liquid glue

A card suitable for Memorial or Veteran's Day featuring Stamp Simply's "Patriotic Sentiments" stamp set, along with stars cut using their "Patriotic Stars and Stripes (Old Glory)" steel die set.


Details: Die cut star shapes from Echo Park "America" paper and white cardstock. Cut Spellbinder Circle die shapes out of navy cardstock. Adhere over layered decorator paper background and add Stamp Simply "Patriotic Sentiments" sentiment banner. Simply change the banner sentiment for Independence Day or any patriotic holiday as desired.

  2. Awesome cards. Your paper piecing with the red gingham stripes is wonderful. I have been struggling to come up with an idea for a card for the granddaughter of a friend who just entered Marine boot camp. Your card with the stars gave me the inspiration I need - thank you for that.

  18. Not too keen on Patriotic style cards. but this would be fabulous for service member families. I scrolled down and LOVE the slimline sympathy card with Graphic 45 paper and the butterfly. Simply gorgeous and could not be any easier!
