Gift Bag and Tag

Hi! Here today with an idea for a quick gift bag with tag featuring Stamp Simply stamps and dies! This bag is somewhat on the small side, 5.25 x 9.25," perfect to use with 6 x 6" decorator paper.

I began by making a panel from the decorator paper to fit the front of the gift bag using Carta Bella's "Happy Christmas" paper. The mid section of the panel has May Art's 1/4" Crochet Lace Trim bordering it. After completing the panel, I adhered it to the white gift bag.

The Christmas bulbs were stamped and die cut from Stamp Simply's "Christmas Joy" clear stamp and matching "Christmas Joy Ornaments" steel die set. Memento Tuxedo Black ink was used, then colored in with Copic Sketch Markers. A sheen of Stampendous Crystal Translucent Glitter was added to the bulbs before they were popped up on the gift bag.

The tag was die cut with a Tim Holtz/Sizzix Thinlet Tag Collection die, sentiment from the Christmas Joy stamp set was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink, then blinged up with a May Art's Bakers Twine bow.

Fun and easy! All linked supplies are from Stamp Simply.

  1. I love the paper with the flowers! It would work well with my tea cup dies! SUPER pretty tag, Deb! Do you make these for every gift?! That is a lot of paper-crafting!

  2. Hi Traci: Thanks, but no, I don't make these for every gift. They are pretty easy though. The little flowers are actually little holly, but they definitely do look floral in the pics!
