Floral Cluster Summer Roses

Hello! Welcome! Back again today with Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's Floral Cluster Series...this week I'm featuring Floral Cluster Summer Roses. As I mentioned in previous posts, the Floral Cluster stamp sets can all be die cut with ONE die...it fits all four sets! The steel Floral Cluster and Sprigs die set also has additional leaf and sprig dies included.

My design for today is similar to last week's, in that I colored the floral cluster with a no line watercolor technique. I used a combo of Tim Holtz Distress and Distress Oxide inks this time around, stamped onto Ranger Water Color paper, and I really love the chalky look of the blooms. After the inks dried, I touched up the centers of the blooms with a Prisma color pencil.

The water color paper oval is die cut using Spellbinder's Hemstitch Oval dies, and the sentiment from the Summer Roses set stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink. Thermoweb 3D Foam was used to pop up the layers of the design.

Here's the inside sentiment...also from the Summer Roses stamp set:

Simple, easy to mail, yet so delicate and pretty!

Floral Cluster--Fall Flowers

Back today with another of The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's "Floral Cluster Series" clear stamps and "Floral Cluster and Sprigs" dies. Today's design... "Floral Cluster Fall Flowers." Remember that each of the new floral cluster sets
are able to be die cut with one die!

I began with layers of Ranger Water Color paper. I do love the texture and heft that watercolor paper provides. I layered it up with a bit of brown cardstock. The ribbon border beneath the sentiment panel is May Art's 1.5" Striped Grosgrain.

The sentiment panel is stamped with phrases from the "Fall Floral Cluster" stamp set, along with the ampersand from Stamp Simply's "Welcome Fall" stamp set. Tim Holtz Distress inks were used for the sentiment and spatters that dot the background.

The sentiment panel was die cut with Spellbinder's Hemstitch Oval dies, and also layered over brown cardstock.

I stamped the Fall Floral Cluster onto watercolor paper, then watercolor painted it with the Tim Holtz Distress Inks. What a fun image to paint! I cannot wait to use it with other mediums as well!

The inside of the card was stamped with a Bible verse from the same Welcome Fall stamp set as the ampersand. Easy to mail and fun to create!

Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Release Week--Floral Clusters Series

Hello! It's release week at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, and what a fabulous release it is! Four clear, individual, seasonal floral cluster stamp sets--as well as one fabulous steel die that fits all four sets! Take a look at the "Poinsettia Cluster" stamp and die set that I used in the card below:

I decided to watercolor my poinsettia cluster using Tim Holtz Distress inks...the image was very enjoyable to paint, and I can see future coloring options coming to mind! I used Ranger Watercolor paper as the base of the card, with three different layers for dimension, popping each layer with Thermoweb 3D Foam pieces. I also love how you can add more texture and interest with the spring dies that are a part of the Floral Cluster die set. So fun!

The Christmas sentiment is stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink.

Be certain to check out the entire week of inspiration using the Floral Clusters stamps and dies at the Stamp Simply blog.

Faded Coneflower

A very monochromatic card for today's design...it features Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's "Thank you for Caring Coneflower" clear stamp set. There is also a die that will cut out the coneflower available, but I chose not to use it today.

The decorator paper that is used is Kaisercraft's "Pen and Ink." The colors are neutral and muted, but with very special vintage prints.

The base of the card is covered with the "Pen and Ink" paper layers, along with borders of May Art's printed 3/4" "Bee" Canvas Ribbon and 1/4" Crochet Lace trims.

I stamped both the coneflower and Bible verse on the image panel with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink onto Ranger Watercolor paper. I "loosely" watercolored it with Tim Holtz Distress Oxides inks.  Spatters of distress oxide ink was also added for the distress factor. A couple of brads from my stash were added to two corners to bring more texture in.

All the supplies linked are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Have a great weekend!

Farm Fresh

A quick but fun card for today..."eggcellent" for easy mailing!

Let me tell you about it:

The base decorator paper is My Mind's Eye "Gingham Farm." This decorator paper is plum full of gorgeous prints...one of my current favorites! The paper has been adhered to the base with Scor-Tape

The chickens are stamped with Stamp Simply's Farmhouse Signage clear stamp set and Tim Holtz Distress inks (Rusty Hinge); the eggs were then spattered with Antique Linen. They are both die cut with the Stamp Simply Farmhouse Signage die set. The arrow is die cut from red cardstock with one of the Farmhouse Signage dies.
The chickens and egg are popped up with a bit of Thermoweb 3D Foam pieces and the arrow glued to the base with TomBow MonoMulti Liquid glue.

The inside verses from the Farmhouse Signage stamp set, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink:

One More Father's Day Design

One more quick and easy Father's Day card...fast and simple!

The wood toned base of this card is Craft Consortium's 12 x 12" "Wood Textures." Such a wonderful array of double sided decorator paper, all with fabulous wood prints!

The main focal panel is Graphic 45's "Penny's Paper Doll Family," what a fun pad...perfect for actual paper dolls, or to decorate any family orientated card. I used a corner rounder punch on a couple of the corners for interest. I realize that dads may not be overly excited with paper dolls, but thought it would fit as a vintage looking design. There is a print panel layered beneath the manly panel from the same double sided paper pad.

Stamp Simply's clear "All Occasions Sentiments Two" set, stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink and die cut with a Stamp Simply's Fishtail Banner Sentiment die adds the perfect salutation. This stamp set is fabulous...love the sentiments in it, also the fabulous font! Works so well with the fishtail dies! The sentiment is accented with a tab of May Art's 3/8" Striped Grosgrain ribbon, and some metal accents from my stash.

Adhesives used: Scor-Tape, Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue, and Thermoweb 3D Foam pieces.

Basic, yet quick. All linked supplies are from
