Simple Valentine

Hello All: here once again with a super simple design...I am all about clean and simple and easy to mail cards lately...cards that I can put together quickly or mass produce. Here is this year's Valentine design. Once again following last week's design-- one sheet of decorator paper, one sheet of cardstock, one die set, and one ink.

The heart dies and Valentine sentiment are Stamp Simply designs...Farmhouse Pierced Nested Heart dies and All Occasions Sentiments Set One. The Craft Consortium Ink Drops Rose decorator paper is also from Stamp Simply

I simply stamped the sentiment directly onto the creamy cardstock top layer with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I also scored two lines on the panel for a bit of added interest...a bit hard to see in the photos. The two pierced hearts were cut from the Ink Drops Rose paper, with the smaller heart popped up on the larger.

Quick and easy!

This beautiful decorator paper is Stamp Simply's Coffee or Tea? decorator paper. I simply covered the base of the card with one side of the dp; then used the backside pattern as a border strip.

The sentiment is from Stamp Simply's All Occasion Sentiments 2 stamp set...love their All Occasion Sentiment stamps...so very versatile and cover so many holidays and events! You can see them all HERE. The black ink is Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.

And, that's it! Fast and flat to mail.

Happy New Year Pinecones

Hello! I have a wintery New Year's card for you today...perfect for the snowy areas around the country. Featured products are from Stamp Simply.

I began with a creamy cardstock base that I embossed with Tim Holtz Sizzix Holiday Knit Multi Texture Fade embossing folder. I thought the design on the folder lent to a warm cozy knitted sweater.

A cluster of pine cones, berries, and foliage top the textured background. I sprayed watercolor cardstock with numerous Tim Holtz Ranger Distress and Distress Oxide inks, then used the Tim Holtz Sizzix Holiday Brushstrokes #2 die set to cut the shapes.

A sentiment using Stamp Simply's All Occasions Sentiments 2 stamp set, stamped with Versafine Clair Acorn ink and die cut with a die from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Tag Collection die set finishes the card.

Snowflake Thank You

I have a very quick and simple (plus easy to mail!) thank you card for you today. Perfect for after all of the holiday gift giving and receiving. It's also great for mass production, using few products.

I began with a lavender piece of cardstock and a piece of Paper Trey Ink's Linen Vellum. The beautiful snowflake border is from Stamp Simply's Snowflake Blessings Border Strip stamp set. I stamped it onto the linen vellum using Ranger Distress ink.

The sentiment is from Stamp Simply's Many Thanks stamp set. It is stamped directly onto the cardstock panel with the same Distress Ink. A trio of Kaisercraft Rhinestone gems finish this very simple design.

Soft Christmas Tree Wishes

Wishing you love, joy, and peace!

Here's a soft Christmas tree in muted colors for today featuring Stamp Simply's O Christmas Tree stamp and die sets. There are three different Christmas trees in the stamp set, but I love this Christmas tree stamp and die most, and have used it for many posts. If you're interested in seeing more inspiration with these sets, put "O Christmas Tree" in the search bar.

Now to the card. The base is made up of white cardstock and a minty, soft aqua gingham designer paper from my stash. I stamped the love, joy, and peace sentiment from the O Christmas Tree stamp set with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink directly onto the background.

After stamping the Christmas tree onto white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I added a bit of color with Copic Sketch markers. The O Christmas Tree die cuts it out perfectly.  Ranger Crystal Effects with Distress Rock Candy glitter adds some gleam to the tree. The tree was then popped up with dimensional tape onto the gingham backdrop.

A May Art's Baker's Twine string finishes off the design.
