HAPPY WORLD CARD MAKING DAY!!! What a perfect day to attempt my first post!
It has been a bit daunting starting this blog...all of the usual questions and notions have entered in...will anyone actually be interested in reading "into" my designs? How much work IS a blog? Can I do it? The answers that I've come up with are: maybe, more than likely A LOT, and YES I CAN!

I designed this card for a couple at our church who were celebrating their anniversary. As I was filing through my metallic papers, I was keeping the Splitcoaststamper's Saturday Inspiration Challenge in mind. I made my choices, and the card went together quite easily (hehe...doesn't always happen that way...) I proceeded to upload it to SCS and then prepare it for giving. To my dismay, I had forgotten that it was their 50th anniversary, thus a golden one! It could easily have come together in gold as well!
The little wedding bands are made by Wilton and found at Walmart in the cake decorating aisle. They also come in gold...

I couldn't help but get tickled about your comment that your dachshund thinks he's your boy. I have a little red dachshund as well, Baxter, and we're all totally convinced that there's a human gene somewhere in the dachshund gene pool! Amazing how much unconditional love they give to their family! And before I forget, your card is gorgeous!
