Just a quick post of a quick card! Today's Technique Challenge was Paper Napkin Transfer. Check it out here...
I had to play, even though I was short on time. I LOVE decorative paper napkins, and I especially LOVE MARIMEKKO! If you are not familiar with Marimekko design, it is of Finnish origin. Material, purses, sheets...all sorts of textiles in all sorts of patterns! In any case, I quickly attempted to perform the technique...unfortunately I did not have the freezer wrap, and my plastic wrap didn't work all too well. I ended up folding the edges to the back and taping. I will try this technique again with the correct materials...because I LOVE NAPKINS!!! LOL!!!
Stamps: PaperTrey Ink sentiment from Spiral Bouquet
Paper: Marimekko napkin, PTI Pure Poppy, SU Night of Navy and Summer Sun
Ink: Versafine Black Onyx

Wow, this is beautiful, as Joan says, the colors are vibrant and bold! A fabulous job with this challenge Deb!
Absolutely fabulous Deb! I love the design of the napkin so bold, bright, cheerful and makes a wonderful card! I didn't have the necessary supplies for the challenge either so I wasn't able to join in....perhaps the next one. Chris
Gorgeous, Deb!!! I love it!!! But I must say, actually using those napkins at your table with coffee and Paul's homemade treats is even BETTER -- LOL!!! Hope you don't make them all into cards -- LOL!!!
Love the bold colors and graphics of this napkin. Great sentiment to go with the image too. I haven't tried this technique yet because I didn't have freezer paper, but I'm so anxious to try. I have my napkins though!
What a wonderful job... I love the colors and can't wait to try the technique. All the elements just fit together perfectly on this card. And, by the way, I'm a big Marimekko fan myself.
Wow! Amazing, bright colors! That's a napkin? What a wonderfully festive table could be set with these napkins. Great card!
