I'm adding a card that I gave my Secret Sister at our stamping group as well. The dp is Stampin' Up Holiday Treasures; SU Craft Chocolate Chip embossed with Clear Embossing Powder; Creamy Caramel sponging; stamps are Inkadinkadoo from Joan's Gardens:

Thanks for stopping by, and have a blessed Advent Sunday!

EDITED TO ADD INSTRUCTIONS: I began by stamping my image on Confetti Cream cardstock with Chocolate Chip craft ink, then embossed with Clear embossing powder and heat to set. I used Copic pinks and greens to color the open snowflake area on the bird. Diecut image out with Nestabilities Label I and Cuttlebug. Sponge around image panel with Creamy Caramel ink. Diecut one larger size Label I on Stampin' Up Holiday Treasures houndstooth. Adhere the image panel to the houndstooth, then using the slot punch, punch a hole to the right of the bird for the ribbon to thread through.

The middle floral panel measures 5" x 5" adhered to a Chocolate Chip panel measuring 5.25 x 5.25". Take your bird image panel with ribbon threaded through and center it onto the floral panel and tape down. Tie your ribbon around the floral/chocolate chip panel before you tape it to the base of the card. The base is a 5.5 x 5.5" Confetti Cream top fold card base completely covered with the houndstooth paper from the designer pack.

I love this card but I am confused how you got the pattern on the bird. Please explain!

The bird here is simply beautiful. I love the swirls of color playing out on the black and the frame around the bird is very elegant. Great job.
