Ahh...Spring! Well--almost! We have sun today, after two days of heavy snow! After one school snow day, and today's late start, the sun has finally peeked out from behind the clouds and has produced enough heat to begin a melt. Yes!!!
I pulled out this adorable Stamping Bella image to create my design for today's Sketch Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. What a great sketch! It was fun to put together!
I began with a Old Olive cardbase, then layered Regal Rose and Pink Pirouette textured papers to create the sketch (all cardstock from Stampin' Up).
I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the "dogwalkabella" image, then colored with multiple Copic markers. I sponged a bit of SU Soft Sky ink around the image, then layered it upon more Regal Rose and Old Olive panels.
I finished off my design with Bazzill Basics Paper Flowers, along with unknown ribbon and brad. My sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink's Mixed Messages (my fave sentiment set!) and die cut with a Spellbinders tag. I used glue dots to adhere the flower treatment to my image panel.
Hope you're having a great week!
