Which Came First--The Bunny or the Egg?

Well, in this case it was the bunny! This is for Sharon's (notimetostamp) weekly Friday challenge--"The Incredible Edible Egg"--featuring eggs in our design. It is also for Splitcoaststampers Limited Supply Challenge, found here.

I began by stamping Lockhart Stamp Co.'s bunny image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring it with Copic markers. I then paper pieced my egg using Basic Grey's Urban Prairie papers, highlighting the lines with a pink Spica Glitter (which you cannot see in this picture).

I cut the egg and image out with Nestabilities Oval dies, mounting them on a base also created with the Basic Grey papers. The white layer was run through my Cuttlebug Swiss Dot folder and corner punched with Stampin' Up's photo corner punch.

The design is finished off with gorgeous gingham ribbon that I purchased from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, and Swarovski crystals.
