Flower Soft February Blog Hop!

A BIG welcome to Flower Soft's February Blog Hop! I want to also welcome the new Flower Soft Design Team members: Linda Beeson, Rose Ann Reynolds, and Jacque Beddingfield! This is the first month that they join in to play along with Jennifer Buck, Jeanne Strieff, and I!

Our product focus for this month is the new, fabulous Ultra Fine Flower Soft, as well as Flower Soft Rubber stamps.

I decided to use one of Flower Soft's new "Moments in Time..." images, specifically "Purr-fect." The new stamps are unmounted red rubber with Kling-On included. I inked up the rubber with both Versafine Black Onyx (for the paper pieced portion); then, Memento Tuxedo Black, stamped onto a speckled cream cardstock for Copic coloring.

I paper pieced the dress, ribbon, and kitty bow with patterned decorator paper, highlighting portions of the paper pieced parts with a Copic marker. After completing the Copic coloring and paper piecing, the image was die cut with an oval die.

I used Ultra Fine Flower Soft in both Sage and Toffee to add texture and dimension to my image panel.

The image panel was then mounted on layers of patterned paper.
