Here is a quick and easy design that could be used for many occasions. It would lend easily to mass production as well.
This Bible verse from Psalms is one featured in Our Daily Bread design's "Sing for Joy!" The font is lovely, and is perfect for heat embossing! I stamped the verse with Versafine Black Onyx ink, then heat embossed it with Stampin' Up's Fine Black Embossing Powder. A Spellbinder Long Rectangle die was used to die cut and emboss the sentiment, which was then layered with a panel of black to create a border.
I went with PaperTrey Ink's Rustic Cream for the light colored cardstock...I thought the little flecks of color give the Cuttlebug "Allegra" embossed panel a bit of an aged look. True Black cardstock, also from PaperTrey Ink, makes up the base and accent. PaperTrey Ink makes my all-time favorite cardstock...it is ultra heavy, and is marvelous for Copic coloring.
A black grosgrain ribbon and American Crafts Elements black brad finish the clean and simple look.
Have a wonderful weekend! I'm attending a shoebox swap with a fun bunch of ladies tomorrow, it should be a blast! Wish you could be there!!!
