We have a color challenge for this week's Stamp Simply Challenge (ssnotime135)! Colors being: shades of purple/lavenders and browns/tans/ivory.
This Mother's Day image and sentiment is from Our Daily Bread design's April release: "Happy Mother's Day."I stamped the wreath onto cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, then colored it with numerous Copic markers. I cut the wreath out, then popped it up with dimensional dots.
The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Black Onyx ink, then heat embossed. I was a bit concerned about stamping onto the Bazzill textured paper, but found it worked just fine. The other pretty lavender colored paper is KaiserCraft's "Lilac Avenue" 6 X 6" pad (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store).
A beautiful double Lavender/Taupe May Art Silk bow, tied with a Bow Easy (both from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store), adds a pretty touch.
