"Inscribed in His Hand" Graduation Card

Here's a graduation card for a young man carrying the promise of Isaiah 49:16. It features Our Daily Bread design's May release, "God's Hands."

I started with Prism's Metallic "Onyx" cardstock, available at the Our Daily Bread design's online shop. It adds glimmer, yet is dark and handsome for a manly design.

I wanted to base the entire design around the image of God's hand, yet wanted the image to be muted and subtle. So, I added a layer of vellum over the entire layered image panel.

Spellbinder Classic Oval dies from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store were used to die cut the Versafine Black Onyx stamped image, while American Crafts Elements black brads anchor the vellum piece to the panel.

A CuttleBug Ironworks Borders embossing folder (ODBD), along with a larger American Crafts Elements black brad, adds extra embellishment.

The Isaiah 49:16 verse from ODBD's "God's Hands" was stamped with Versafine Black Onyx ink, heat embossed with a fine detail embossing powder, then die cut with a Spellbinder Long Rectangle die.
