Happy 4th of July! Well, almost! Our Stamp Simply Challenge (ssnotime146) for this week is to incorporate stars into our design!
My design comes by way of October Afternoon designer papers: Thrift Shop, Report card, and Road Map: all from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
This is one quick and easy design--"Stamping Simply" (well, not actually any stamping at all here...) My stars were cut with Stampin' Up's large and small size star punches.
Krylon's 18 Kt. Gold Leafing Pen (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) was used to add a metallic touch to all layers and star edges, while gold cord from Stampin' Up ties the design together.
The rest of the Stamp Simply Challenge team have come up with more wonderful star filled designs...check them out!

LOVE this card! What a great mix of papers from 3 different pads -- love that idea! Also, this reminds me, I have that type of gold and silver string and never posted it -- ooohh, better get busy.

Your card is great!! I love the gold touches you added!
Very very pretty Deb!!!
Absolutely love this card Deb. I'm not usually one for designing patriotic cards, not because I don't like them, but because I rarely send any out. This one is stunning - I love it!
