Stamp Simply Hard Rock Cafe (Heavy Metal???)

Sharon has come up with a fun challenge for ssnotime161: "Today we are thinking *hard rocks* -- NOT music – OR eating!!! LOL!!! Think metals and stones as added elements for your project. Metallic pens, metallic papers, and rhinestones -- gold, silver and diamonds – right? Feel free to use copper, rubies, emeralds, pearls, etc. Use these types of beauties to embellish and enhance your work today – can’t WAIT to see!" My design today also fits today's Splitcoaststampers Free for All Challenge: "Winter White Out."

My "rock" of choice: gold!

I'm just loving the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store K and Company "Glad Tidings" Christmas Kit! Look at this pretty golden paper printed with swirls, snowflakes and pretty!

I decided to make a poinsettia duo to grace my design, thanks to Spellbinders "Poinsettia" Shapeabilities, available at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. A Krylon Gold Leaf pen (also Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) was used on the edges of the petals with a Martha Stewart punched snowflake and Stampin' Up Build A Brad finishing the Christmas bloom.

May Art's 3/8" gold Metallic Velvet adds a glittery border layered over May Art's Ivory Lace and accents the Rubber Soul "Holiday Stylized" sentiment of "Joy, Love, Peace" (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store).

See what the rest of the Stamp Simply Challenge team are "rocking"...

Hi Deb~

Thanks so much for the info! When are these cards due? Yours is such a delight. I love the colors, and the little stars in the bg, and that trim is fantastic! The flowes are so beautiful!

When and where do we need to go to see who won the Blog Hop from the other day? I never go back and look. I want to this time!

Have a blessed weekend.
