New LaBlanche Release Text

Greetings from Washington D.C.! I am finally getting settled and am able to have a bit of creative time. Talk about the country mouse coming to the city...the museums, galleries, restaurants...FABULOUS!

I wanted to show you another new release from LaBlanche, available the middle of this month--this text stamp is perfect for a background, or focal image as in this case.

The background paper used here is Webster's Pages "Spring Market/Yacht Club/Country Estate" papers, available at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. I think that this is my all time favorite Webster's Pages paper so far...I love the mix of floral, seaside and fruity prints!

Prima's "Delightful Day Hush" blossoms top off a May Art's Silk Ribbon bow, fashioned with a Bow Easy.

A border of May Art's Natural 5/8" lace, threaded thru with 1/4" Ivory May Art's Silk ribbon (dyed with a Copic Sketch marker), provides additional dimension and texture to the background panel.

If you are interested in being placed on a waiting list for this stamp, please email Sharon at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store (ssj@up.net).  Also, there is a ribbon sale going on (by the spool) over at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store--check it out before June 12th!

Just wanted to close with a couple of shots that I took while visiting the Library of Congress...

The Capitol from the Library of Congress

The Library of Congress...check out the beautifully hand placed tile ceilings and floors! Gorgeous!

Have a wonderful remainder to your week! I'll be back with one more LaBlanche preview in the next day or two!

Deb! I am so glad to see your posting! I was just thinking of you today! This is beautiful! I love the Webster's pages...they are so beautifully colored and look like they have a unique texture to them.

I love how you put the ribbon through the lace...that is great. The embellishments look fabulous on the bow and together on the pins. I really like this stamp. It could have so many uses.

I don't have a way to reach you, Deb. If you can, how about taking care of that?

Can you believe we are celebrating our 1 year Blog-o-Versary? We have a ton of Blog Candy over at the He IS Able blog. I hope you will take a look at today's post. I think you will like it. (3 cards)

He IS Able,
