One of the post is a hop hot spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $15 ODBD store gift certificate. So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love! You have until Wednesday, July 4th at 6 pm. Enjoy all the awesome inspiration using For the Love of ODBD Good Steward sets!

My design uses Our Daily Bread Designs "Serve the Lord" stamp set, along with their "Crocheted Circle Die Custom Die."

I wanted to focus my design on the Veterans of Foreign Wars "Buddy Poppy." You can read more about the VFW Buddy Poppy HERE.

I stamped the poppy image onto white cardstock, cut it out with the Crocheted Circle die, then colored the background with Copic markers. After stamping the image onto the red polka dot, I trimmed the blossoms and paper pieced them onto my die cut image panel. I added a few shadows onto the blossoms with a red Copic marker.

If you've arrived here from the ever so talented Connie's blog,
you are hopping along just fine!

And, remember: if you get lost along the way, head back to ODBD's Blog, where you will find the entire list of inspiration!

Thanks so very much for joining us today!

  25. What a wonderful tribute to the VFW Deb. I never would have thought of using the poppies for that. Your paper and layout are beautiful too. I was so glad to see you use the crocheted stamp and die set. I've been looking at that set for a long time. Every time I place an order to ODBD I look at it. It's always so hard to narrow down which sets to buy next!
