I just wanted to check in to let you know that I will taking a bit of a break from blogging as we're heading to the States for my youngest son's wedding over the holidays.
Joel and Jamie's engagement on the beach of Lake Superior at sunset
I wanted to show you a picture of the wedding invite that I designed for the happy couple. The wedding has a vintage theme, so a fleur de lis detail, along with an embossed panel, made for a textured, pretty design. A perfect way to build anticipation for the big event!
Jamie and her friends made up a large number of invites...quite a task with one embossed panel and two die cuts! In the end, all agreed that it was totally worth the extra effort!
The Spellbinder Fleur de Lis Pendants dies are no longer available, but you can purchase the Spellbinder M Bossabilities "Mystic" folder from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. The blush colored "Kaisercraft Pearls Blush" accent is also from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
I wish you all a Blessed Christmas and wonderful New Year!
Be back in the middle of January!
