Hello once again. I have been working on Christmas cards that would fall under the category of "easy to mail." My favorite type of designs usually include lace, ribbon, bows, etc.--beautiful, but not always so easy to mail.
I began with Authentique Tidings decorator paper...same paper pad used for my Christmas tag posted below. This pad has 24 unique patterns in the pad...most all grounded on a kraft colored base. Very nice paper!
I used a paper crimper for the striped border that runs along the center of the design. This adds a bit of interest to a somewhat plain card.
The angel is from JustRite's clear "Great Joy" stamp set and was stamped onto ivory cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored with Copic Sketch markers. A die from Spellbinder's Nested Oval Medallion Labels was used to cut the image out. The image panel was popped up with Thermoweb 3D Foam strips for a bit more dimension.
The sentiment is also from the JR set Great Joy, and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
