Easter Blessings Week and Something Sweet!

I have been loving using the new Stamp Simply Clear Stamp Sets, just released! They are beautiful sets--the fonts are gorgeous
and the sentiments/verses powerful!

Let me tell you about my design and check below
for the promised "something sweet..."

Let's start with the base of the card. The decorator paper used is Graphic 45's "Time to Flourish 8 x 8" Classic." I wanted to add a bit of texture and glimmer so used Tim Holtz' "Flourish" stencil, Studio 490 White Embossing Paste, and Stampendous Crystal Ultra Fine Translucent Glitter directly on the decorator paper. Just sprinkle the glitter onto the embossing paste while it is still wet.

A bit of Tim Holtz Distress ink in Walnut Stain is smudged along the edge of the card.

I did make my flowers (once again using white coffee filters)  Spellbinder's "Cinch and Go Flowers" dies. The pretty stamens are white pearl by Marion Smith Designs. I added a bit of the glitter onto the blossoms as well.

I stamped the verse from the Stamp Simply Clear "He Has Risen" stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink, then die cut it with Spellbinders Classic Oval dies and layered it onto the base with a Thermoweb 3D Foam Strip.

A Seam Binding bow (Cameo Beige made with an Original Bow Easy) and Stick Pin by Darsie (Shabby Chic Pink Collection) finishes this design.

Here's a shot of the inside sentiment in the card:

This card is absolutely stunning! It has everything I love on a card: ribbon, glitter, flourishes and flowers! I'm all about shabby and vintage! I must try to make those flowers using coffee filters. They are gorgeous!

Gorgeous card--love the beautiful flowers. I like to see both kinds of cards. I tend to make CAS but appreciate seeing vintage/shabby.

This is a beautiful card. I love everything about it and especially the scripture verse. It is a powerful verse that gives us help for difficult times. my greatest blessing is that I am a child of the King who knew me before the world was created and yet He still chose to create me a worthless sinner that He died for to give me Eternal Life.
