Wedding Wishes

Wedding Season is coming up quickly...I usually make wedding cards specifically for each couple, but since a move will be taking place during this time, I will plan and work ahead.

I began with plain white cardstock, then used Tim Holtz "Gothic" stencil and Studio 490 White Embossing Paste to create the heavily textured background. Texture paste is sooo easy-- biggest thing is dry time!

Here's a closeup of the main feature of the card:

The sentiment panel with filigree edges is from Spellbinders "Tranquil Moments" die set. I stamped the sentiment using Stamp Simply's clear "Wedding Wishes" stamp and Versafine Onyx Black Ink, then die cut it with a JustRite's Antique Tags One die. It is layered over a border of May Art's 1.5" Tulle Ribbon...look carefully--you can just see it. It adds additional subtle texture. A couple of Melissa Frances white Pearls add the final touch.

This precious Bible verse from the "Wedding Wishes" stamp set decorates the inside of the card:

Sorry, not the greatest picture...it looks perfect in the actual card!

This design is fairly flat, and should be quite mail-able.

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store

Make sure that you check out the Closeout Stamps!
Once they're gone, they are gone!

Thanks for stopping by today!
